Identify Your Starting Point
Our process starts with an in depth assessment. It is during this visit where, together, we will come to understand your symptoms, limitations, goals and expectations. Moving forward, we take a deep look into your movement patterns, assess your range of motion, strength, joint health and objective measures to determine how to track your goals. Although your initial visit is focused on diagnosis, our time together also provides an opportunity to educate and highlight how a physiotherapeutic approach to managing your physical health best supports your lifelong well being.
Helping You Overcome Your Obstacles
Therapeutic Approach
We place high value on the importance of personalization. Each injury presents differently for the individual patient. For this reason, all the sessions are one-on-one. Treatment consists of education on the diagnosis, anatomy, prevention and home exercise program designed just for you. Treatment modalities can include: manual therapy, soft tissue therapy, pain management tools, taping, bracing ultrasound therapy, IMS and more. These more passive techniques are however only part of the puzzle and compliment the exercise rehabilitation portion of our treatment plan.
Preventative Measures
Whether your goal is to return to sport, work or daily life activities we will plan a set of preventative measures to make the transition as safe, smooth & timely as possible. Most individuals book in to a physiotherapist because they are struggling with pain and/or discomfort. Although a large portion of our focus is to better the situation, our treatment plan also includes remedies to mitigate the chance of re-injury.
Becoming Your Best Self
Through education and self evaluation we strive to create the framework for you to identify and achieve your health goals. Helping you understand the experience of, and how to achieve, pain-fee movement is central to our practice. Strength in motion speaks well to our treatment model. We are here to help discover yours.t
Our Testimonials
“Probably the most thorough and informative exam I’ve ever had from a physio, and that’s saying a lot. Tim subsequently supplied me with a comprehensive program of exercises for my osteoarthritic ankle which are beginning to prove beneficial as I get further into them. I would definitely recommend his services..”
— Sam
“In addition to his skills as a physiotherapist, Tim is a great communicator and has a wonderful bedside manner. He is always professional, courteous, and respectful. He also has a great sense of humor, which made the therapy sessions enjoyable and relaxed”
— Loral
“Tim is a super helpful and knowledgeable physiotherapist. He’s friendly, resourceful, and realistic. I was worried when I hurt my back that I wouldn’t be able to keep doing the sports that I love, but Tim has helped make that possible, and I appreciate that so much.”
